EXCELLENCE PROGRAMME

A three day programme for the professional director that will:

• provide access to leading edge knowledge and practice
• enhance your ability to contribute to greater effectiveness and better governance in the boardroom

This programme has been developed for executive and non-executive directors to help them understand and meet today’s boardroom standards.

Set against the background of today’s corporate governance and effective director performance criteria, the programme gives participants the benefit of both leading edge thinking and practical experience.

It is primarily aimed at directors of UK listed companies, senior directors of their operating subsidiaries or those individuals who have an expectation of becoming a director of a listed company within the near future.

This programme assumes that participants already have a thorough knowledge of boardroom practice and theory and concentrates on giving participants the benefit of the knowledge and experience of experts. There is extensive use of simulated boardroom scenarios and small discussion groups.

Assessments are undertaken by faculty members, expert assessors and fellow participants, culminating in a detailed assessment of individual performance and contribution which will be invaluable to the individual’s professional development.
